Supported Employment provides persons with Intellectual Developmental Disability equal opportunity to find meaningful and rewarding employment. Eligible individuals can avail of Job Trainer or Purchased Support to help them obtain and maintain employment. Individuals wishing to access supported employment should contact one of the 19 community employment agency offices such as Ability Employment Corporation, or the Department of Advanced Education Skills and Labour (DAESL).

Ability Employment Corporation support persons with Intellectual Disabilities working in businesses throughout the communities of the Economic Zone region.

Community Partnerships
The Department of Advanced Education Skills and Labour provides funding to community agencies across Newfoundland and Labrador to deliver SENL services to eligible clients.
